Andy mentioned not playing until Weds in his chat with Petch on Sky - he didn't seem overly bothered about it so maybe we should just accept it and wish him well.

Andy did though ask the question - 'Is it fair that some players are expected to play 7 matches in 14 days while others have to play in 12?' Petch said - 'Do you think it's fair?' To which Andy replied - 'I'm asking you.' He then went on to say he didn't mind playing on Wednesday. Unfotunately, it only needs a day of rain to mean that some of them could be playing back to back matches

At least Conor is on the scoreboard in the 2nd set.
Such a shame that his big moment on Ashe is spoiled by food poisoning.

Oh Well Connor is forced to retire, such a pity he was so ill! Good to see Gulbis comprehensively outplay Misha, though was expecting tougher match.

Just been reading about Rafa's match last night, sounds like he had quite a battle despite the straight sets win.

Yes, it was a real struggle but his opponent played very well. He had so many break and set opportunities yet Rafa fought back to prevail. Good test for him as his section of the draw third round onwards looks very challenging indeed.

Sky have just said theat Soderling has withdrawn and a lucky loser Da Silva takes his place. That gives the Irish guy, Soranson more of a chance.
