Hi all - thread open for discussions!!!
I'll use the first 2 posts for:-
a) information about the event/venue
b) list of those going and so on
I've not had time to look at any of this since last Monday so I'm sorry for the lack of updates. I know a lot of you have paid and I've picked up a bank statement to check through.
Just to reiterate that our block is safely reserved so don't fret.

Hi Sally - really concerned that I haven't paid. I couldn't access the internet while on hols and by the time I came back, the forum had closed and I had no access to PMS (I presume that's how you sent out the message about payment as I haven't heard from you about it otherwise. Please let me know how much to stump up to whom and where to send it. Thanks

Yup - ordered mine at the weekend. Must say was a bit disappointed that they now make you specify which restaurant you want the vouchers for - for a while you just ordered restaurant vouchers and spent them wherever, save for a few places. So ordered plenty of each to cover all bases! Or really just so I can eat more!!!

Heres my first question:
What's the dress code in the evenings? Dressy, smart, smart-casual or casual?

Depends whether we go straight from the tennis or have time to go back to the hotel but even with that everyone does their own thing.Mandiemoo wrote:Heres my first question:

It's pretty casual all the time to be honest! Although I usually stick a couple of nice tops in the case in case we do a dressy up thing!

Yup - any or all of those, except probably out and out dressy. You'll see a spectrum and as has been said, depends on whether or not there's time to change. Don't stress - we're not judging you by your clothes - we just want to meet you!

Just make sure your naughty bits are covered up, and you will be good to go.Mandiemoo wrote:Heres my first question:

I've got a Tesco card.
If you have a Clubcard then go to the Tesco website and look at the Clubcard bit - it tells you there how you can redeem your clubcard vouchers. If you redeem them for restaurant vouchers, then you get 3 x their face value so e.g if you have £5 worth of Tesco vouchers, that will get you £15 worth of restaurant vouchers - you have to send off for them but you can do it online. Hope that helps.

We definitely can't go to the DC now, due to work commitments. Hope everyone else has fun!
