Just a quick note to say that entries for the US Open pick 'em will open tomorrow (Thursday) evening at the BT competitions page with qualifiers likely to be placed on Friday night (unless the weather dictates otherwise) and entries closing at 16.00 BST on Monday.
It will be interesting to see how much the sudden loss of the original Murray forums affects the numbers of entrants. I will mention the change and put the new link in the mass email, so with luck that might round up one or two lost souls who have not found you again yet!
Just so you all know, I intend to continue to offer the option to enter for either the AM team or the JM team on the entry form, probably with slightly changed team names, though the precise team names are not the most immediate priority.
I have seen the 'to merge or not to merge' poll, but given that one of the main options is shadowed out (a forum glitch, no doubt) and only a small fraction of the usual AM/JM entrants have voted, I think seeing how many entries we get for each team will be a more useful 'poll' than the one here. We will merge entries into a single Murray team if the number of JM entries is less than 5 (and then probably continue with a merged team for future BOTBs too), so if you enter for JM, you will be in a full team whatever happens.
Apologies for the fact that the post-Wimbledon rankings still aren't up - I'll do them at the weekend before the USO starts.
