Andy kicks off his US Open campaign with a Rnd 1 match against Indian player Somdev.
Surprisingly they've not met before on that ATP Tour or in Futures or Challengers so the H2H is 0-0.

Somdev is aged 26, 5'11 and 25kgs lighter than Mr Muscle Murray!!!
Although he's 2 yrs older than Muzzah he turned pro 3yrs later and has only recently seen his ranking rise to a career high #62 (#64 this week). The main reason for the delay in hitting the grind of the tour was a 3yr degree in Sociology from the University of Virginia, and he turned 'pro' after graduating in 2008. He now resides in the USA whilst still representing his country for Davis Cup and he won the singles Gold Medal for India at the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
This could be quite a good first round match up for Andy to 'find his feet' at Flushing Meadows. As ever it's wise to have a large sofa on stand-by.
