bubble gap drivers championship

Aware that this forum is just a temporary home I'm loath to create too many threads.
For those of you who haven't found it yet, the cincy bubble gap competition is currently running over at BT.net

RULES

There are a total of 13 races throughout the year (4 x Slams & 9 x 1000 Masters Series Events)
Points awarded for each race are:

25 points ( + 10 bonus points for predicting the bubble gap exactly)
18 points
15 points
12 points
10 points
8 points
6 points
4 points
2 points
1 point

Each person's lowest 2 scores will be discounted (although with everybody having a couple of 'zero-pointers' this probably won't have much effect)

The winner will be the person who has scored the most points throughout the year (and will win a special prize*)

In the event of 2 or more players tying on points, they will be separated as follows:
Most race wins -> Exact guesses -> 2nd places -> 3rd places -> Slam points -> overall placings

(*) - Maybe!

I've updated the cincy bubble gap comp over on the bt.net thread but the long and the short of it
(especially it would appear on the top step of the podium) is...

OK, post-Montreal & Cincy roundup...

janeInScotland's moves up to 3rd in the Drivers' Championship with her 2nd win of the year in Montreal, just ahead of Claire Bear who also moves up 3 places with a 2nd & 6th finish.
After a 7th in Cincy, but losing her 100% scoring record in Montreal Sallydaisy is now just 1 point shy of current leader Genbrit

Vixs' win in Cincy sees her climb up 7 places to 8th overall, and also earns her a membership to the "2 wins this year" clique.

Lizzim is up 4 places after finishing 2nd in Cincy, narrowly edging rondun who was nothing more than consistent with 2 9th place finishes.

Michael is no longer unlucky 13th after his 2nd podium of the year in Cincy, while Ace! moves up 3 places after a 2nd podium in Montreal

After scoring "kneel pwan" up until Canada, JAMES is now on a 2/2 roll being 1 of 4 people to score points in both the back to back masters, and climbs 4 places to 21st as a result.

The bubble gap comp for the USO is now open so don't forget to get your entries in!
