US Open 2011, R4: Andy through to the Quarters as Donald Quacks 6'2, 6'3, 6'3

I remember hearing Andy say something like he enjoys playing on smaller sized stadiums as he feels like, psychologically, he can hit through the ball more. Or something or other.

I'm just happy he's on first as it gives max chance to complete.

Shame Andy didn't get to play today but it does mean that I may get a chance to watch this now. Mind you looking at the forecast for tomorrow it's not looking good at all. Surely they have to consider a Monday final?

I did hear from the commies on Eurosport that it will be a Monday final. What is ARod doing on LA court sitting at 21 in the ranking and Ferrer 5. I hope ferrer wins, teach them to put andy on GS.

I am sure Andy is aware of all of the preferential moves/treatment given to others but i am also sure it wont bother him at all - i also seem to recall him saying something about his liking for the smaller courts because of the atmosphere generated - although on this occassion it will probably be for Young but i am sure Andy will feed off it -lets hope it is long enough for Andy to achieve a good win and move through to the next round-

I think they put Andy on Grandstand just to ensure that all the R4 matches are completed on time (with three of the R4 matches all having 11am starts). I read on twitter that Rafa wanted to play on Ashe as he doesn't like the smaller courts - think that's the least interesting R4 match though, if I were the organisers I'd have put Roddick/Ferrer on Ashe.

It's a bit odd that Isner/Simon are scheduled after Andy though. I'd have put them on Court 17 at 11am just to ensure that their match does get finished.

Hope the rain isn't as bad today and that there is some play!

I'm really glad they put Andy on first at 4.00 pm. THis is a twet from Neil Harman 40 minutes ago.

Today's NYC forecast is showers, tapering off in afternoon and returning with a vengeance tonight, with an inch of rain likely overall.

So Sir Roger may be inconvenienced after all.

The only stream for Andys court is for Veetle and you have to agree to install their toolbar and make them your default browser. No way will probably just have to follow on Live score unless something else appears. One of the penalties of not getting the two main courts!!!

I used to use Veetle on my old computer - haven't used it on this one yet - and I didn't have any problems.

It's not the only one - this one is showing Grandstand too.
