    Hi folks

Both boys forums have been closed down so it's harder for the Jamie fans to be separate. We've got a sub-forum for Jamie in this temporary 'home' but I don't know how likely it would be for a new Jamie Only forum to be started. Doesn't mean he isn't being supported but perhaps it makes it difficult to compete against one another.

Can we get some views please?
    And votes on the Poll.

    Thanks
    Very Happy

    EDIT: 01.00am. 2 for jm.org, 9 votes for combined.

I have no idea why the top option of the Poll is shaded ......... I didn't ask it to do that.

I like the team being in Andy's name, but I guess my opinion is void as I'm on team Bangor anyway :p

    Argh! The opposition!
    Thanks for commenting though Drew.

BTW - please could you PM me your mailing address?
Obviously, I've now lost it because it was PM'd in the closed down forum!
Will send your t-shirt out tomorrow.

Happy for it to be one team as I've always supported both of them - however perhaps it's for the members of the JM team to decide as they might not want to join little brother's team? Wink

I think it might be better to have just one forum in the future anyway, as Jamie's forum always felt a bit sidelined - I think there were more people following his matches when we had the first (shared) forum.

I did play wfor Jamie's team for some time but think it's probably best to have a combined team now there is only one forum but am happy to go with the consensus. In the circumstances can't see a sepearate presence for Jamie, so it'll be like the old days, though I did like Jamie having his own forum!

I think it's best going forward to have a combined team and combined forum.

On a related note, Jamie could have his own sub forum here.

At the minute it is Andy Rules and Andy off court,
    I would propose something like;

    Andy On Court
    Jamie On Court
    The Murray Family Off court

(I know that many of you like keeping up to date on what Judy is doing)

    Thoughts?

Edit; Duhhhhh I've just seen Jamie already has his own sub forum there. I've worked all weekend and brain not functioning!

seems to make sense to be 1 team going forward. Might mean AM.com (or what ever name we use!) qualify for the knock out team tournament after the last disaster on that front

I see that Steven's joined so will probably put up a thread for the USO pick'em shortly.

But what about the WTA BOTB? Should we contact Super8 to tell him where we are? What forum was he on - Centre Court something?

Also the TFF comp - what's the name of the site where that its, and does anyone remember our long very complicated password? I always used to copy & paste from the thread.

I am going to continue to offer both AM and JM options on the entry form for reasons I have explained on the US Open BOTB thread I have just started at https://andymurray.forumotion.com/t59-2011-us-open-battle-of-the-boards-pick-em-contest - there will continue to be a JM team unless/until the number of JM entrants drops below 5, in which case the Murray teams will be merged for that BOTB and probably for future ones.

For those wondering about the WTA version, that is hosted at http://www.cctennisworld.com/tennis-forum.html

TFF Dreamteam is hosted at http://www.tffdreamteam.com/usopen/ but I don't know the password.

I hope you're all settling in ok here Very Happy

Thanks Steven - wise thoughts on the teams.
The temp tent appears to be coping whilst we organise the permanent penthouse ..........

Not everyone has been able to 'join' us here, either because of not knowing where we are or having difficulties registering/getting past that devilish captchka.

We've been asked to pass on the following from JaneinScotland who is currently a member and posting on BT.net.

PS Cazza - please can you post for me on https://andymurray.forumotion.com/ I've tried several times to register and am continually failing the 5-6 character "human" test. I'm human - but can't prove it - very depressing Sad

What I want to post is that, for pick'em, am.com and jm.org teams should be allowed to continue and each person in jm.org should choose when and where they move as jm.org loses members (if it does - maybe not - it's nothing to do with the websites - who thinks it is?) Team jm,.org may retain, even gain members if Jamie progresses in the rankings - who knows? Maybe Jamie's team changes its name - but the team name doesn't have to be linked to a website.

I'm puzzled as to why the new "Admin" want to disband/disappear/absorb/take-over the jm.org team into the am.com team. Is it important? Surely not given the demise of sites and need to keep interest, develop alternatives/... Can't they let us choose for ourselves?
    Can you/someone explain?

Sorry the shading may have made seeing the Poll options difficult.
Not sure how to get rid of stuff like that yet.

FWIW - 12 people voted on the Poll (almost all of the jm.org team).
9 were for having a combined Murray team
3 would prefer to continue with a Jamie only team
1 has had a comment posted that she'd rather play for a Jamie team.

Steven is going to leave it open for people to choose for themselves when entering the USO Pick'em.

Looking at the team league and KO results so far, it was probably right to keep the cream in a separate team.

    Not feeling space sick?
Shame you're out of the top 10 now though.

I shot up 47 places to #77 - no idea why but there you go.
