cheers cheers Fantastic play from Andy, some great shots. Was so nervous on the tiebreaker as we know Isners results, how Andy held his nerve. Great win from Andy, so deserved. bounce bounce Sheer Brilliance.

Ah, the type we are all familiar with then. Failed tennis player who knows nothing and thinks he knows everything.

Loved that he kept making comments about the sun every time John was serving on that side. Hasn't he realized that they change sides every 2 games? Andy had to serve there too but had no problems with that!
Today was one of the rubbish commentary I've ever heard. Calling Judy Andy's coach, saying that Isner clearly outhit Andy in the 1st set.

You nearly gave me a heart attack! I'm out from 5.30 to 7.15. With this timing I can watch (although Rafa is looking scarily good against Roddick, I was hoping for a ding-dong battle).

Well done Andy - so pleased you've made your 4th semi of the year .... way to go!

Easy for you. You didn't go through what we went through! Last Friday and now this Friday I'm into the white wine rack. Was hoping it would last until Christmas. God knows what I will be like if he get to the final. BTW I have promised a certain Saint a charitable donation each match. But I will honour it. Next time you see me I may be destitute and relying on the kindness of friends.

It was a match of two halves really but Isner steppped it up and Andy had to respond, howeer I was so pleased Andy survived the mini crisis in the 4th and was strong in the breaker. It certainly became an exciting match though, if just a bit edgy. Well done Andy! Laughing Laughing Laughing

Maybe would have been good if iAndy had finished the job a bit earlier but hopefully he wil recover well for the semi and put on an inspiring performance. Nadal been on song tonight though, even if Roddick has beem jaded in a disappointing match.

I thought Isner would be easy to beat. Well, not easy. but not as hard as today. I hate it when Andy gets all negative. The commies on CBS were all complaining about it and apologising for his bad language. Johnny Mac, who has predicted Andy to win the whole thing, said it's that negative attitude that is holding him back from winning a GS.

But I enjoyed the match all the same and I knew he'd win.

This happened to me a few times on this board, until I realised that after you write a reply and click "submit", it often comes back with a message that there have been new posts while you were writing and asks if you still want to submit the post. If you notice this and click on "save", your post goes ahead, but if you don't notice it and just move straight on to another thread, your post will vanish into thin air.
